The position of Project Co-ordinator will feature consistent communications with clients/customers and tradespeople throughout each stage of the process, from initial design, through construction, and after occupation. The Ideal will have deep and varied experience in project co-ordination, and who also have a background in architectural drafting or related skill sets.
The most significant responsibilities for a Fidelity Homes Inc. Project Co-ordinator include working collaboratively with our valued clients and in partnership with the lead architectural firm to assist with and/or review drawings and client selection charts that are clear, concise and trade-friendly. Project Co-ordinators work directly with the Site Supervisor to ensure each project is being built to contracted specifications, and that any alterations are managed efficiently and effectually to the client’s satisfaction. They will regularly communicate with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, engineers and other professions/trades related to specific projects.
As well, the successful applicant will assist in the conceptualization and design of various projects being undertaken by Fidelity Homes and will be co-ordinating multiple projects at varying places along the construction continuum. They will lead and participate in all significant client meetings, including for décor and colour selections, and assist with any technical issues relating to hardware and software that may arise.
The Project Co-ordinator will also have the opportunity to help Fidelity Homes Inc. devise and implement new policies and procedures which can assist in the overall efficiency of our design and construction process to enhance our quality and level of service and maintain our competitive advantage. The individual will also help facilitate the PDI and closing details, as well as be the primary point of contact for after-service client care, including co-ordination of Tarion-specific requirements throughout the process.
We seek with at least a diploma in Construction, Project Management or Architectural Technology, who has at minimum between 5 to 10 years experience in Project Co-ordination, preferably in the residential sector. Proficiency in various computer-aided design and drafting software would be advantageous, especially AutoCAD.
